The Regis 4Ever Foundation

When Regis Korchinski-Paquet was killed by the Toronto Police Service on May 27, 2020 the lives of her friends and family were forever changed. Following her murder, people took to the streets across North America – forming a global uprising against police murders of Black people. #Justice4Regis #NoJusticeNoPeace #NoRacistPolice

In the years since her death, her family has continued to demand justice and support other families impacted by police violence and murder across Canada.

The Ontario Special Investigations Unit failed to hold the police officers onsite responsible for her tragic death.

No one should worry that a call to 911 will result in harm or death. The Regis 4Ever Foundation supports a future where no one has to fear police violence, a world where police budgets are redistributed to initiatives that support real safety, and community members can come together and envision healing and justice.
